Smart card inlay, also known as RF card inlay, is a special term used in the smart card industry. It refers to a pre-laminated product in which a multi-layer PVC sheet contains chips and coils laminated together. It usually consists of two or three layers. There is no printed pattern on the surface, and the smart cardcore material is suitable for mass production of multi-variety smart cards. The inlay surface is covered with a different printed pattern to form a colorful non-contact smart card by re-lamination.
